meet jessie
Hi, I’m Jessie—the heart behind Tigerlily Events Co. I believe in doing impactful work with good people, and I’ve always been drawn to moments where creativity and care collide.
I hold a business degree from UC Berkeley and bring over a decade of experience planning everything from polished corporate gatherings to joyful, messy kids’ cooking parties. I’ve led events at LinkedIn and Culinary Artistas, and had the privilege of collaborating with some of the nation’s top luxury wedding planners.
You have equal chances of finding me on the dance floor or fine-tuning a timeline at 2am. I aim to bring my full authentic self, and that balance of precision and play, into every collaboration.
I also love working with kids in all capacities, from foster youth advocacy to guiding sea kayaking and teaching kids how to cook.
This company was inspired by the women who taught me that presence speaks louder than words. This is where it all comes together for me. All are welcome!
story behind the name
A tiger is fierce, strong, and powerful. A lily is soft, elegant, sophisticated and rooted in nature.
Tigerlily represents that powerful balance—where bold meets gentle, where celebration meets intention.
The name also honors many of the inspirational women in my life, specifically my grandmother, Jeannette, a woman who taught me that there is strength in softness.
She never needed to be the loudest in the room to make her presence felt. She noticed everything, cared deeply, and moved with grace and quiet power. The party didn’t really begin until she arrived.

good for the soul
supporting foster youth
During my work as a credentialed court-appointed advocate for foster youth, I saw how rare birthday celebrations were. Limited resources and frequent transitions often meant these meaningful moments were overlooked.
We partner with San Francisco CASA, a foster youth advocacy nonprofit, and donate a portion of all proceeds to a dedicated foster party fund. Through this fund, I plan to provide pro bono birthday celebrations for foster youth—because everyone deserves to be celebrated.
partnering with purpose
We prioritize local, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses who share our commitment to people and planet. Every choice matters—from who we hire to how we source.
event planning, design & execution for kids!
From nannying to leading after-school classes to teaching to sea kayak, I’ve always loved being around kids—their honesty (though sometimes brutal!), their ability to find wonder in the everyday, and the way they carry hope for what’s to come.
Over the past 7 years I’ve helped run a cooking events company for kids, and I’m excited to infuse these passions with TLE Kids, our kid’s arm of the event planning business.
In addition to supporting foster youth through our broader mission, we offer full-service planning for kids’ events, including birthday parties, graduations, and more.
Planning something special for your kiddo? We’d love to help—reach out to learn more.
